- Facilitate continuous dialogue between the pastoralist communities of Northern Kenya with their political leaders, government administrators and other development agents to enhance genuine participation in the formulation and implementation of policies that relate to their social, cultural and economic well-being
- Promote peace and harmony within and between pastoralist communities of Northern Kenya to enhance cooperation and regional development.
- Enhance the capacity of traditional leadership and institutions to deal with new challenges and opportunities
- Enhance, mainstream and support traditional knowledge, wisdom and practice through documentation and transmission.
- Promote awareness of sustainable utilization of their cultural and natural resources for profitable social and economic development
- Support and enhance community-based natural resource management initiatives in the Trust areas.
- Network with other charitable organizations with similar objectives to raise, mobilize and disburse funds to meet the Trust’s objectives
